Feeding grazing cattle seaweed cuts methane emissions by almost 40%

A study by researchers at the University of California, Davis, found that feeding grazing beef cattle a seaweed supplement in pellet form can reduce their methane emissions by nearly 40% without affecting their health or weight.

This is the first study in the world to test seaweed on grazing beef cattle, offering a sustainable option for cattle farming while meeting the growing global demand for meat.
