I pledge to keep the mangroves clean
I pledge to say NO to plastic bottles and plastic bags.
BSG Plastic Collection Drive 2024
I will only wash full load of laundry to save water, time, electricity & money
I will turn off the water tap when not in use and also mend leaky faucets
I will donate and share what I no longer use rather than throwing it away.
I will not pay bribes in any situation.
I will take care of my health by leading a disciplined and sustainable lifestyle. I will eat mindfully and workout at least 3 times a week.
I will educate myself and not buy / use products that have been made from or tested on wildlife.
I will not throw any plastic or other kind of man-made waste in the oceans and water bodies.
I will use cloth bag instead of plastic bag when I go for shopping.
I will mindfully observe and minimize the waste generated by me on a daily basis.
I will use public transport or carpool / walk instead of using a private vehicle as much as possible.
I will become good friends with at least one person with a disability.
I will empower many people, regardless of age or gender, by educating them how to use the internet and technological gadgets.
I will pay fair wages to all people - be they men, women, young or old, without any discrimination.
I will switch off all electrical appliances when they are not in use.
I will not pollute water sources by minimizing the release of hazardous chemicals from my house. For example: I will not use chemical detergents at home.
I will not stereotype any work based on gender.
I will learn at least one new technical / vocational skill every year.
I will fight against food wastage by not wasting the food on my plate and within my house.
I will take care of my mental well-being by practicing meditation daily. I will encourage others to do the same.
I will continue to engage in dialogue with many people to enhance my own knowledge of and spread awareness about the SDGs .
I will encourage and support local businesses by shopping locally.
I will sincerely take action towards achieving the SDGs.
