Sustainability demands changes in human behaviour.
Sustainable human behaviour is, therefore, a transformation at the conscious and nonconscious level of life - bringing mindfulness and consideration towards others at the forefront - be it towards other humans, animals, birds, environment, laws, institutions, etc.
For example: Being considerate of one’s neighbours, being mindful of one’s water consumption, energy consumption etc, overcoming one’s own prejudices and biases towards those belonging to a different background than us, and so on - all of this requires a fundamental change in the innermost level of life, with a conscious focus on respecting the dignity of all life.
Unless human beings adopt sustainable human behaviour in their daily life, it will be difficult to preserve and protect the world we live in.
